Dylan DeJong
Melvin Montgomery
Melvin is a resident of Baxter and has been employed by Baxter Oil Company for a long time. He lives with his wife Elaine and has 2 grown daughters Christie and Marsha. He enjoys conducting household auctions when he is not working at the store. Last year he was selected 'Employee of the year' at the Petroleum Marketers Convention in DesMoines from entrants across the state. You can find him on the 'early bird shift' week days at the store.

Dylan is the youngest son of Karen and Bryan, he is in 10th grade. Dylan is official can sorter at the store and helped the guys this summer with installations, as well as jumping in at the register when we're short handed. Dylan runs on the cross country and track teams. He is on the academic honor roll and plays saxophone in the jazz band as well as junior high band. He also is learning the drums. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, and some bird hunting.

Gabe is the oldest son of Karen and Bryan, he is a sophmore at the University of Iowa. Gabe clerks in the store (when he has to) while at home for holidays. Gabe was active in running sports in high school as well as band. He has a good class load and is unsure of a major just yet (perhaps journalism). He is doing some snowmobiling and motorcycling and likes to play his guitar. Gabe has quickly become a "rabid" Hawkeye fan.

Jeremy Smith
Jeremy has been with us a couple of years
now. He lives in Baxter with his wife Misty and
2 year old son Cole. Jeremy graduated from
Baxter High School and attended junior
college on a football program. Jeremy has
been a welcome addition to our mechanical
business as he has extensive experience in
new home installation, and duct design.
Jeremy serves as a volunteer firefighter here
in Baxter and stays busy with home
improvement projects, he likes to hunt and
fish when there is spare time. Jeremy is
'fusion certified' as well as having completed
ClimateMasters factory training course. He
has his state HVAC, Electrician, Plumbing,
and Hydronic licenses.
Gabe DeJong
Mark Vansice
Mark has worked for us for about 10 years or
so, you will find him fixing something at the
store or out on a service call repairing
something or maybe installing a piece of
equipment, he has over 20 years experience
in the heating/cooling field. Mark enjoys riding
his Harley when the weather is nice and he
has time. Mark also likes to watch old
westerns and hunt mushrooms and coyotes.
Mark has completed GeoComfort and
ClimateMasters factory training as well as
being 'fusion certified'. He has his state
HVAC, Electrician, Plumbing and Hydronic
licenses.
Barb Anderson
Barb started with us in 2001, she works the
'early bird' shift with Mel and "bakes the
donuts" they have a good time greeting the
early morning customers. Barb lives in town
with her husband Alex, together they have 4
grown boys. Barb enjoys being with her
family in Minnesota, especially her grandson
either there or here. Alex likes animals and
sometimes will provide 'safe harbor' for a
stray, he also has a KLR 650 motorcycle they
will take a short ride on when the weather is
nice.
Diane Engle
Diane has been with us since the mid '90s,
you can find Diane cleaning something (she
is a cleaning machine) or pitching in where
ever needed, she can do it all if called upon.
She and husband John live on main street
here in town. They have 2 grown children
Maggie and Tom. John is retired from Maytag
and enjoys tinkering with his Mopar. Diane is
active in her church and also works part time
for the local funeral home. For fun Diane
enjoys helping Melvin with household
auctions, family gatherings and Halloween.
Dillon Blum
Dillon came to work for us in August of '07. He
is in charge of 'grounds keeping', and helps
with cooler stocking as well as any other odd
jobs we come up with around the store. He
likes to ride his 4-wheeler and play video
games, he just got a new scooter he rides to
work when the weather permits. He lives at
home with his mom and dad Don and Tami
and their dog Otis. His sister Destiny is going
to college in Des Moines.
Jason Finch
Jason is the newest member of the HVAC
team, in July '08 we were desperate for help
with all of the geothermal installs and he has
worked out great! He brings lots of knowledge
from past experience, as well as being very
capable in the fabrication shop. Jason grew
up in Baxter graduating from high school here
(same class as Jeremy). He has a son and
daughter and likes to spend time with them,
and is accomplished at singing and playing
the guitar for fun when he has the time. Jason
has also completed the factory training
course held by ClimateMaster and been
'fusion certified' as well. He has his state
HVAC and Plumbing licenses.
